I have loved music all my life.

I am a singing teacher who gives singing lessons, as well as all types of voice lessons/vocal lessons.
I have Drama and Music Teaching experience. I began formal vocal training at 16 years of age and in the ensuing decades, have studied many different musical disciplines (including Opera for nine years)
I am also a working performer called ‘The Versatile Vocalist’ here in Sydney.
Additionally, I coach young people all kinds of ‘performance skills’.
I teach songs, breathing, posture, vocal exercises, song choice, getting over the ‘break’ in your voice, telling the story, learning to love your own sound and many other vocal tips.
I am a great admirer of Seth Riggs and believe that, even though I was personally classically trained in Opera, this style of singing has an equal standing with Contemporary Music and Musicals.
I love music of all kinds -Jazz, Blues, Rhythm and Blues, Soul, Funk, Black Gospel, Old Time, Classic Ballads , Children’s Songs, Broadway Musicals and Movie Music .
Apart from 1 on 1 live coaching, I have a professional CD series that covers all the basics and will enable you to rehearse in the privacy of your own home – all you need is a player.

I can sing okay but i would like to extend my knowledge and I was wondering if you did music reading. I want to be able to do well for my ATAR results. Thanks for your enquiry. I hope you enjoy your singing journey next year despite the academic pressures. Unfortunately I do not teach singing for examinations AMEB , or HSC. I do however teach how to overcome nerves and present yourself confidently no matter where you are performing. I recently helped a student to overcome her nerves for an audition for The Voice!
