“I have known this gutsy mezzo soprano for over 3 decades, and it has been my privilege to have accompanied for her on piano on many occasions (both in live performance, and in recording).
I know Emma to be a very bright and instinctive musician that conveys essential emotional depth in performance. To make music with her is an exciting experience; for not only does she know how to display genuine comprehension of drama in music, she exudes real joy, with that rare star quality of being able to reach an audience. One of our most memorable performances was in Malaysia for an audience of over 1200 people – her performance was ‘electric’!
